RULES FOR MAKE-UP
Delegates 9 and Under:
Delegates 9 and under are not allowed to wear full or heavy make up in any phase of competition. However, they may use natural looking make- up during stage competitions only to enhance their features as they will be under stage lighting. For example: powder, blush and lip gloss to avoid being washed out is acceptable, as is a little bit of mascara to enhance eyes. Spray tans are acceptable as long as they appear natural. Flippers and wigs are not allowed.
We want our delegates to look polished and age appropriate at all times throughout the pageant.
DELEGATES 10 AND UP:
Delegates 10 and up are free to groom themselves as they wish, keeping in mind their age and the fact that we want each delegate to represent her age well.
The make-up that is appropriate for a 12 year old is not the same as it is for an 18 year old. Look age appropriate while using make up to enhance your features under state lighting. Please note: no wigs are allowed in any age divisions.
